Monica graduated as the dux of Queen Mary, University of London, obtaining a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours. She also received a scholarship to complete a term at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden. Since returning to Australia, Monica worked for six years in private practice in the Shire before undertaking specialist training at The University of Sydney, graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics. She conducted research into methods used to accelerate Orthodontic tooth movement, and was involved in teaching orthodontics to dental students.
Monica is registered as a specialist with AHPRA and was awarded membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, Australasian Orthodontic Board and Australian Dental Association. She enjoys treating pre-teens, adolescents and adults using a variety of methods including aligners, fixed braces and removable appliances to create both functional and beautiful smiles.
When she is not working, Monica enjoys a variety of hobbies and looking after her little girl.
